Jacqueline Iwamura began dancing at Queen Emma Ballet in Hawaii at the age of 6. She then returned to her home country of Japan and starting at age 12 received further training from Yuliya Kozlova, former soloist with Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre. From 2013–2015 Jacqueline attended Ballet Hawaii summer intensives and had the opportunity to perform with members of The Washington Ballet in CinderellaPeter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland choreographed by The Washington Ballet Artistic Director, Septime Webre. In 2017 Jacqueline performed as Gazmatti in La Bayadère at Kozlova Ballet School alongside principals from Odessa Opera and Ballet Theatre. From 2019–2022 she danced at Prima Stella Ballet in Japan under the artistic direction of Takashi Setoguchi. Jacqueline joined Olympic Ballet Theatre’s Trainee Program for the 2022–2023 performance season, and was promoted to company dancer for the 2023–2024 performance season.
