Q & A
FAVORITE ROLE PERFORMED WITH OBT? I’ve been very fortunate to have so many amazing roles and performance opportunities but my favorites have been, “La la Lu” in Eva Stone’s Keep Me In Mind (Debuts, 2024), the Raymonda soloist variation I performed in Summer Performance (2024), and Demi Lead Flower in The Nutcracker (2024).
WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU? How much I love supporting others around me. Even on my toughest days, making someone laugh or just brining a smile to their face is enough to get me through the day.
WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED? I try to find inspiration from the people around me and through other forms of art that help center me. Making sure I have a good support system is extremely valuable to me. Having friends by my side helps keep me going.
WHAT ARE YOUR DANCE BAG MUST-HAVES? I usually have way too many pointe shoes (6+ pairs), hairpins, lip gloss, perfume, and I can’t forget my most favorite, Biofreeze.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE EXERCISE TO DO IN CLASS? Either Adagio or Grande Allegro. I love the legato movement and dramatics that come with Adagio, especially the music. And I love any exercise where I get to travel and explode (sissone is my favorite step!).
