Follow the adventures of Don Quixote and his mischievous companion Sancho Panza on a heart-warming quest for love, honor, and justice in this fun bravura ballet. Staged after the production by Marius Petipa and Alexander Gorsky, this classical three-act production of Don Quixote features sets by award-winning set designer John Iacovelli.

STORY OF THE BALLET
In a book of fanciful fairy tale stories of chivalrous knights, old Don Quixote de la Mancha reads of Dulcinea, a lady of divine beauty. Believing the tale to be real, Don Quixote vows to find this lovely creature. Armed with a spear, a shaving bowl helmet, and his companion Sancho Panza—a thief from the marketplace who fled into Don Quixote’s house—the chivilrous, if eccentric, aspiring knight begins his quest.
On their journey, Don Quixote and Sancho Panza come to a bustling seaside town. There they meet Kitri, a young lady whose beauty rivals the Dulcinea that Don Quixote seeks. She loves the handsome but poor barber, Basilio, but Kitri’s father Lorenzo disapproves of the union, wishing her instead to marry the foppish nobleman, Gamache.
Hijinks ensue in this beloved story of bravery, romance, and comedy.
